Celebrate St. Brigid's Day and Imbolc with a Special Guided Tour and Workshop

Join us this St. Brigid’s Day, Saturday, 1st February, for a unique guided tour led by our docent, Brendan O’Sullivan. Explore the Hunt Collection as Brendan delves into the historical significance of saints’ days in shaping the calendar and the fascinating ways pagan traditions, including the ancient festival of Imbolc, were adapted into Christian practices.

Drawing on his own childhood experiences, Brendan will offer a personal and thought-provoking perspective, enriching the discussion with both historical insight and anecdotal charm.

The tour will conclude with a hands-on St. Brigid’s Cross-making session, where you can create your own traditional cross.
