Hunt Studio Competition Brief 2025
Calling all Limerick City Transition Year students! We here at The Hunt Museum have an exciting opportunity for you. Whether you’re into art, history, working with your hands or looking for a way to challenge yourself by trying something new, you’re bound to enjoy this project.
The theme for 2025- Reuse – pushes your creative limits into the 3D world using recycled household materials. For this competition, you can create any type of 3D art you desire, from decorative sculptures, to functional objects, or even wearable pieces! The art pieces must be inspired from the theme Reuse. Pieces must also take inspiration from, or link back to, the Hunt Museum Collection. With over 2,500 items photographed and catalogued on our website, many of which are on display on-site, there’s no limit to what can be created. More than 200 of our items have been carefully scanned to create 3D digital replicas, which are free to view on our website. With The Hunt Museum website, you are sure to strike inspirational gold! Visit the collection online, Explore – The Hunt Museum.
